本考案は、胃腸などのエツクス線診断の造影剤
として使用される硫酸バリウム溶液(以下、単に
バリウムという。)を実質的に固形球状化した構

れず、期待したほどの効果は得られていない実情

で包む構造としたから、そのまま喉に抵抗なく飲
め、かつバリウムが口舌に触れないので、どろり

て球体に形成されている。この造影剤の外径Dは
9〜12mmで、内径dは8〜10mmである。カプセル
膜2はうすい黄色の透明体で、適当な甘味、香り

の滴液が得られるよう、10%の塩化カルシウム溶
液6の中に投入し、その状態で化学ゲル化を行わ
せたのち、これを取り出して水洗いした。これに
より、強度、保形性、飲食感、外観色、香り、甘

く、のどにそのまま通りやすく、飲んだ後も口内
がすつきりとし、薬液に対して敏感な幼児でもけ
ぎらいすることなく親しみをもつて飲めるように
