Abstract

PURPOSE:To build a ground retaining wall, and foot and road ways having a nature-like appearance by forming a plurality of holes in a bottom part, by securing a cap block having an outer wall decorated with natural stones or the like, onto the ground retaining wall, and by decorating the upper surface of the retaining wall with a lawn or the like. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of holes 2 are formed in a bottom part 4, and a decorative part 3 which is decorated at its outer surface with natural stones, or sand, is laid so as to form a cap block 1. Then, the cap block 1 is fixed by placing concrete on the upper part of a ground retaining wall formed of concrete blocks each having an outer surface embedded therein with natural stones, and in the holes 2.
