構造が開発されている。 In a cab-over type car in which the engine is mounted in a position where it is easily exposed to dust and water stirred up by the wheels, internal space such as a side frame is provided to the engine as shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 1982-90827. An air inlet structure has been developed that is used as an air intake passage, thereby allowing relatively clean air from the front of the vehicle to be introduced into the engine body.

る。 FIGS. 2 and 3 show an embodiment for a right-hand drive vehicle. In this embodiment, the steering shaft 5 is divided into an upper shaft 10 on the steering wheel 9 side and a lower shaft 11 on the steering gear box 6 side, and these are connected by a universal joint 12. is divided into upper and lower parts, and the upper and lower divided parts are joined by a flexible joint 13. The steering shaft 5 is passed through a steering shaft through hole 4a for a right-hand drive vehicle provided on the right side of the cross member 3 at the lower divided portion of the lower shaft 11 thereof. Further, the steering gear box 6 is located directly below the through hole 4a.
is bolted to the bottom surface of the cross member 3.
Numerals 8, 8, and 8 are bolts for this purpose, and nuts 7, 7, and 7 are welded around the through holes 4a, and are screwed into the bolts 8, 8, and 8. The upper divided portion of the lower shaft 11 passes through a hole 16 provided in the floor panel 15, and the flexible joint 13 located at the lower portion thereof is accommodated in the cross member 3 below the floor panel 15. Furthermore, the third
In the figure, 14 is a steering column, and 17 is a cap-shaped seal that seals the gap between the hole 16 of the floor panel 15 and the steering shaft 5.

This internal space is used as an intake passage 19 for air supplied to the engine main body 18, and as shown in FIG. 2, the starting end of the intake pipe 20 of the engine main body 18 faces the internal space of the right side frame 1a. . Then, the through hole that does not allow the steering shaft 5 to pass through, that is, the left-hand drive vehicle through hole 4b, which is a left-hand drive hole, is used as an air intake port, and the air taken in from this hole is drawn in as shown by the arrow in FIG. and leads to the engine body 18. In FIG. 2, reference numerals 21, 21 are closing plates that close the openings at both ends of the cross member 3.
