行われるなど非常に複雑なものとなり、それに伴い前記
した電気的な接続も輻鮫化したものとなるので、往々に
して接続違いなどを生ずる問題点を生じ、これら問題点
の解決が課題とされるものとなっていた。

において、隣接する前記ジュールの夫々が対峙する接続
辺の端部に配置される電気配線の敷設の位置を接続され
るべき対がお互いに対峙するものとしておき、前記接続
辺の前記電気配線の位置にはこの電気配線と接続された
導電性ファスナ爪を係着し、その他の部分には絶縁性フ
ァスナ爪を係着してスライドファスナを形成し、前記ス
ライドファスナを継着させて行うことを特徴とする大型
表示装置のモジュール連結方法を提供することで、前記
した機械的接続と電気的接続とが同時に且つ誤接続を生
ずることなく行えるものとして、前記した従来の課題を
解決するものである。

るための駆動回路(図示は省略する)が設置され適宜な
配線も行われた複数のモジュール2が、縦横に接続され
構築されているものであることは従来例のものと同様で
あるが、本発明により前記モジュール2を接続するとき
の接続方法は機械的接続と電気的な接続とが同時に行え
るように構成されたファスナ3に依るものとされている
。 第2図は更に詳細に本発明の接続方法を示すもので、前
記モジュール2は、夫々が隣接して配置されるモジュー
ル2同士、例えばモジュール2Sとモジュール2Tとの
対峙する接続辺、例えば−方のモジュール2sの左接続
辺2Lと他の一方のモジュール2Tの右接続辺2Rとの
夫々の端部に施される電気配線2Cの位置を例えば電源
線と電源線、接地線と接地線、クロックとクロックある
いは信号出力と信号入力と云うように夫々接続されるべ
き対が対峙させられ敷設されるている。。 尚、この敷設は前記基材2aが樹脂フィルムで形成され
ているときにはプリント回路基板の製造方法で行われて
いるエツチングなど公知の手段で良く、また、前記基材
2aが布基材であるときには銅箔の直接の接着あるいは
可撓性プリント回路基板の所定位置への接着など自在な
方法で良いものである。 以上のように形成されたモジュール2の四辺あるいは他
のモジュール2と接続される接続辺にはファスナ爪が係
着されスライドファスナ3の一方が形成されるものとな
るが、ここで前記ファスナ爪は金属性など導電性部材で
形成された導電性ファスナ爪3aと樹脂など絶縁性部材
で形成された絶縁性ファスナ爪3bとの二種類が用意さ
れ、前記電気配線2cが施された位置には前記導電性フ
ァスナ爪3aがこの電気配線2cとも接続するように係
着され、それ以外の位置、即ち電気配線2cが施されて
いない位置には前記絶縁性ファスナ爪3bが係着される
。 尚、云うまでもないことであるが、前記導電性ファスナ
爪3aと絶縁性ファスナ爪3bとは、その構成される部
材を除いては要部は全くに同一な形状として形成されて
いるものであり、夫々同士が入組んだ組合せとされたと
きでもスライドファスナ3としての継着性能に差を生ず
るものではない。 このように構成されたモジュール2は適宜数が縦横に接
続されて目的とする大型表示装置1が得られるものとな
る。 次いで、上記に説明した本発明の作用・効果について説
明を行えば、先ず、前記モジュール2同士で接続される
対峙する辺にg&設される電気配線2cを接続されるべ
き対が対峙するようにして、更に前記電気配線2cの敷
設されている位置にはこの電気配線2cと接続する導電
性ファスナ爪3aを係着し、それ以外の位置には絶縁性
ファスナ爪3bを係着してスライドファスナ3とし、こ
のスライドファスナ3を継着する接続方法としたことで
、前記した接続されるべき電気配線2Cの対は前記スラ
イドファスナ3によるモジュール2の機械的な接続を行
った時点で、前記導電性ファスナ爪3aにより電気的な
接続も同時に行われるものとなり、且つその他の部分に
離着された絶縁性ファスナ爪3bによりスライドファス
ナ3全体に渡る導電性が生ずることが無いので前記した
接続されるべき電気配線2Cの対の夫々は独立した接続
が保証されるものとなる。

装置のモジュール連結方法としたことで、モジュールの
機械的な接続を行った時点で、前記導電性ファスナ爪に
より電気的な接続も同時に且つ容易に行われるものとな
り、機械的接続と電気的接続とを別々に行い大変に手間
の係る接続を簡素化し作業効率を高めると云う卓越した
効果を奏すると共に、複雑な電気接続が接続位置など確
認することなく自動的に行われるようにして誤接続、或
はこの誤接続に起因する電気回路の故障などこの接続時
に生ずる事故も防止する優れた効果も併せて奏するもの
である。
