Claims (1)
透光部2が所定間隔で形成されたパルススケール
1の回転により、前記透光部2を透過する光が断
続されて、その回転角に応じた光パルス信号が出
力されるように成された光透過型ロータリーエン
コーダにおいて、前記パルススケール1の両面側
から、その透光部2に光を照射する発光用光フア
イバ6の端面6aと、透光部2から透過した光を
受光する受光用光フアイバ7の端面とが対向して
配され、その状態で、これら両光フアイバ6,7
がハウジング5に一体的に取り付けられて固定さ
れると共に、発光用光フアイバ6が、小径で且つ
開口数NAの低い光フアイバに選定され、受光用
光フアイバ7が、発光用光フアイバよりも大径で
且つ開口数NAの高いフアイバに選定されている
ことを特徴とする光透過型ロータリーエンコーダ
。 (2) 前記発光用光フアイバ6又は受光用光フア
イバ7の少なくとも一方に、プラスチツクフアイ
バが用いられ、当該プラスチツクフアイバが、他
方の光フアイバの配線方向と同一の方向に曲げら
