の回転により、前記光反射部2に照射される光が
断続されて、その回転角に応じた光パルス信号を
出力するように成された光反射型ロータリーエン
コーダにおいて、前記パルススケール1の片面側
に対向して、その光反射部2に光を照射する発光
用光フアイバ3の端面3aと、当該光反射部2か
ら反射した光を受光する受光用光フアイバ4の端
面4aが配され、その状態で、これら両光フアイ
バ3,4がハウジング6に一体的に取り付けて固
定されると共に、発光用光フアイバ3が、小径で
且つ開口数NAの低い光フアイバに選定され、受
光用光フアイバ4が、発光用光フアイバ3よりも
大径で且つ開口数NAの高い光フアイバに選定さ
れていることを特徴とする光反射型ロータリーエ
