壁23のせり上がり量をフロントサイドメンバ1の縦壁
8の面内で極力小さく抑えることができるため、ファー
ストクロスメンバ20をその中央部分から両端部を含め
て一体にプレス成形することができ、かつ、パネル材の

ることなく、該フロントサイドメンバの変形乃至車体パ
ネルの変形を回避させることができ、軽衝突時対策も十
分に満足させることができるという実用上多大な効果を
