Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a mulching film readily removable in a proper period and provide higher efficiency of crop cultivation using the aforementioned film by continuously providing holes in the shape of a broken line for dividing the mulching film in the longitudinal and width directions. CONSTITUTION:The objective mulching film obtained by providing holes (A) for seeding a plant in a mulching film (B), such as transparent high-density polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride, having 10-100mum thickness and forming holes in the shape of a broken line (0.1-10mm hole diameter and 1-10mm interval between the holes) along the aforementioned holes (A) in the longitudinal and width directions of the mulching film.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a mulching film that can be easily removed at an appropriate time during the growth of crops in the cultivation of crops, and a method of cultivating crops using the mulching film.

(Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention) Mulching films are generally used for the purposes of retaining soil moisture, increasing soil temperature, preventing fertilizer components from being washed away, and preventing weeds.
In early spring, transparent mulching films are mainly used for the above purpose. In summer, black mulching film is used to block sunlight due to heavy weed growth, but black mulching film absorbs sunlight and increases temperature, making it an undesirable mulching film.

In order to improve these drawbacks, summer mulching films include white mulching films containing titanium oxide, silver mulching films containing aluminum powder, and photodegradable mulching films containing rhesium carbonate powder. However, these mulching films cannot necessarily be said to be satisfactory because they are insufficient in lowering the soil temperature or are insufficient in preventing weeds.

Therefore, as a method to solve these problems, we developed a mulching film at an appropriate time during the growth process, and evaluated its effectiveness. However, in actual agricultural work, it was found that it is a difficult task to efficiently remove the mulching film without damaging the leaves of the crop.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide efficient (and easy to remove) mulching film at the point when it is determined that various problems will occur if the crop is grown using a mulching film any longer during crop growth. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a mulching film that is possible; another purpose is to provide a method for efficiently cultivating crops using the mulching film.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The above objectives are (1) to use a mulching film in which broken-line holes are continuously made in order to facilitate division of the mulching film in the length direction or width direction of the mulching film; After cultivating crops, when it is determined that continued cultivation using mulching film will reduce crop yields due to sustained high temperatures in the summer, (2) remove the mulching film along the continuous broken line holes; This is achieved by using a cultivation method in which the film is divided and the mulching film is removed during the growth of the crop.

On the other hand, the size of the hole is about 0.1 mm to 10 mm5, preferably about 0.81 to 2.001111 mm. The distance between the holes varies from 1■ to 1OIII depending on the size of the holes.
If IQ is preferably 21 from In+m, it can be easily divided. The thickness of the mulching film is from 10 μm to 1
Although it is about Ooμl, 20μm is the standard on average.

Growth was going well, but since the beginning of July, there have been days when the soil temperature has been above 30'C, so we carried out work to remove the mulching film on the first day of July. The mulching film was separated and removed by two people, but
I was able to smoothly divide the radish into three parts and remove them without damaging them. As a control, the results of using the same type of mulching film until July 30th without removing it are also shown.
