Claims (1)
面に配した軸封部ハウジングと、該ハウジングに
気密的に装着された固定環が軸封部ハウジング内
周のシヤフトに気密的に装着された回転環に密接
してなるメカニカルシールと、このメカニカルシ
ールの缶内側に配したシヤツトダウンシールとを
備え、このシヤツトダウンシールは、前記内径フ
ランジにおける缶内側に臨む端面に突設した筒状
部に気密的かつ軸方向移動自在に嵌着されるとと
もに反内径フランジ側の端面にガスケツト部を設
けたリテーナと、内径フランジおよび軸封部ハウ
ジングを軸方向に貫通し一端がリテーナにおける
缶内から気密区画された面に固着されるとともに
軸封部ハウジングから突出した他端にナツトが螺
合されるスタツドボルトと、内径フランジおよび
軸封部ハウジングを軸方向に貫通するとともに内
径フランジと螺合し一端がリテーナと当接する押
付ボルトと、前記リテーナの反内径フランジ側の
端面に近接対向してシヤフトに気密的に固定され
たスラストリングとからなることを特徴とする缶
