7を突出させ、面構造材8の側端部を挟持溝2内
に嵌入して面構造材8間を継手本体1により接続
し、面構造材8端部に設けられた端折り曲げ部9
を端部覆い部5内に嵌入すると共に端折り曲げ部
9の側端を上記挿入位置決め片7の先に交差させ
る如く当接させて成ることを特徴とするものであ
り、これによつて上記目的を達成するに至つた。 以下本考案の実施例を添付図に基いて詳述す
る。ここでは面構造材8として金属製の屋根板材
Aの場合について説明するが、面構造材8は垂直
に葺いて外壁材などとしても用いることができる
ものである。 屋根板材Aは第3図に示されている。即ち、屋
根材本体10の前端部を下面側へ略コ字状に折り
返して端折り曲げ部9を形成し、屋根材本体10
の後端部を表面側へ断面逆L字形の袋状に突出さ
せて折り曲げ部11を形成し、折り曲げ部11の
先端を前向きに突出した接続突部12とし、折り
曲げ部11の後方に断面略U字状の横排水溝13
を左右全長に亘つて設けたものである。又、屋根
材本体10の上下間の中央部は左右全長に亘つて

する箇所からは挟持溝2の開口側へ向け挿入位置
決め片7を突出させてあり、挿入位置決め片7は
カバ−部4の側端よりも引つ込むように短いもの
としてある。また、上記傾斜部15により挿入舌
片3の前端と端部覆い部5内面との間の間〓は挟
持溝2の開口側において間〓幅が広くなつてい
る。更に、継手本体1の後端は折曲されることな
くストレ−トとなつており、その表面にはゴム系
