Abstract

PURPOSE:To save cleaning liquid by heating a bottle to be cleaned preliminarily up to the same degree as the temperature of the cleaning liquid. CONSTITUTION:A plastic bottle is heated preliminarily up to the same degree or higher than the temperature of cleaning liquid. Then spraying is carried out. Expensive liquid presently wasted to raise up the temperature of the bottle to be cleaned can be used more effectively by said arrangement.

In the pharmaceutical and food industries, plastic bottles are generally cleaned without using detergent, but after soaking in a solution with the same composition as the main filling liquid (for example, 12 hours), spraying with clean water. The cleanliness of the bottle after washing is related to the temperature of the clean water used, so heated clean water is often used to achieve high cleanliness, but the cleaning effect is The temperature will only rise once the inner wall temperature of the plastic bottle has risen.

Conventional equipment of this type sprays heated clean water onto bottles at room temperature for cleaning. Until the inner wall temperature rises, the expensive heated clean water is used for heating and is discarded without contributing to the cleaning process. This has been an obstacle to shortening the spray cleaning time.

[Means and effects for solving the problem] The method of the present invention is characterized in that the bottle to be cleaned is heated in advance to a temperature equal to or higher than that of the cleaning liquid. According to this method, spray cleaning is effectively performed, and it is possible to save cleaning liquid and shorten cleaning time.

The graphs in FIGS. 2 and 3 show the relationship between the spray water temperature and inner wall temperature and the inner surface cleanliness of the bottle after washing when preheating is not performed during bottle washing. Spray cleaning water temperature is 60℃
It is enough. It is also understood that a sufficient cleaning effect cannot be obtained unless the inner wall temperature rises.

Figure 1 shows the results when the bottle was heated to the same temperature as the water prior to spray cleaning (water temperature 60°C). The broken line A in the figure is for the conventional method shown in FIG. 2, and the solid line B is for the method of the present invention. As is clear from FIG. 1, according to the method of the present invention, the spray cleaning time can be shortened by one minute, and the amount of cleaning water can be reduced by about 20 to 30%.
