Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the management of a parking place by selecting a vacant parking section except a parking section which cannot be used temporarily as a result of processing a sensor signal and informing its number by a radio and a display of a car which is going to park. CONSTITUTION:When a car C2 reaches an entrance of a parking place, it is detected by an entering car detecting means CS consisting of a light source 4 and a photodetector 5, and a detecting signal 6 is inputted to a voice output device 3 and a transmitter 15 through a gate 12. On the other hand, from sensors S1 - Sn installed in parking sections P1 - Pn, whether a car C1 which is parking exists or not is inputted to a signal processing means 10. Also, from a keyboard 14, a section which cannot be used temporarily is inputted to the means 10. The means 10 processes an input signal, selects a number of a section, when only one section is vacant except the section which cannot be used temporarily, and selects one, when plural sections are vacant, converts its number by a voice synthesizing device and inputs it to the device 3, and informs it by a voice from a radio 18 of the car C2 which is going to enter through a transmitter 15 and antennas 15, 17.

A sensor is installed in each parking lot to detect whether a car is parked or not, and an audio output device (the main component is a speaker) is installed at a predetermined position in the parking lot, and the audio output is connected to a transmitter and an FM transmitter. In addition to installing an antenna that transmits weak radio waves, a means for detecting vehicles entering the parking lot is also installed at the entrance of the parking lot, so that the driver of a car attempting to enter the parking lot can be informed of the parking lot at the time of entering, excluding sections that are temporarily unavailable. The sky status is notified by radio or by radio and display.

As a result of processing the sensor signal with a signal processing means, the parking lot is determined to be an empty parking lot when only one parking lot is vacant, excluding the temporarily unavailable parking lot, and a tenon is determined to be an empty parking lot when multiple parking lots are vacant. One of the parking bays is selected and the number of that one bay is communicated to the driver of the vehicle about to enter by radio or by radio and display.

Reference numeral C8 denotes an entering vehicle detection means, in which a light source (4) and a light receiver (5) are arranged facing each other with the entrance (1) in between. Therefore, if the car C2 blocks the light generated from the light source (4), it is determined that an entering car is at the entrance. Note that the detection signal (6) of the light receiver (5) is provided to a gate circuit and a transmitter, which will be described later. Note that the transmitter and transmitting antenna are omitted in FIG. Figure 2 (a) shows the relationship between the audio output device (3) and its ancillary devices, where (7) is the speaker, (8) is the AMP, (9+ is the voice synthesis output device, and QO is the above-mentioned plurality of devices). (R71 is a receiving antenna of a car about to enter, (IEII is a The parking status of each parking lot is constantly monitored by the signal processing means α0) based on the signals from each sensor.
When only one parking lot is vacant as shown in Figure 2(b), use that vacant parking lot, or if multiple parking lots (pt, P6, P, .) are vacant as shown in Figure 2(c). When the vehicle is parked, one of the parking sections is selected and a signal (1)) for converting the number of the parking section into voice is output from the speech synthesis output device (9). (■ is the audio output device (3)
This is a gate provided between the voice synthesis output device (9) and the voice synthesis output device (9), into which an entering vehicle detection signal (6) generated from the voice synthesis output device (9) and the light receiver (5) is input. Note that the detection signal is also given to the transmitter as a drive signal.

Therefore, when a car attempting to enter reaches the entrance and is detected by the entering vehicle detection means CS, the number of the parking lot that can be parked at that time is outputted from the radio 08), excluding the parking lot that is temporarily unavailable. That is, when there is no vehicle attempting to enter, there is no audio output and the transmitter is not activated. If a car attempts to enter, an audio output is generated and transmitted. Drivers who hear the parking lot number on the radio can simply head straight to that lot, without having to search around the lot.
