(Prior art) Pipe wrenches used for tightening pipes are disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 50-32399 and Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 44-1989.
As shown in Publication No. 22631 and FIG. 3, a round nut 52 is attached to the head of the wrench body 51 which also serves as a handle.
Usually, an L-shaped upper jaw body 53 is swingably attached to the wrench body 53, which can be moved forward and backward by the rotation of the wrench body 51.
and the inner side of the maxillary body 53 opposing this.
The teeth 54 and 55 are easily worn out because the structure is such that the entire load applied to rotate the pipe is concentrated on these two teeth. For this reason, pipe wrenches are usually made of a highly hard material such as tool steel that has been hardened through heat treatment such as quenching, but they are safe and do not generate sparks in areas where there is a risk of explosion. Cu-Be used as a tool
Pipe wrenches made of alloy cannot be hardened in this manner, and wear of the teeth 54 and 55 has become a serious problem.

(Problems that the invention attempts to solve) This invention solves these conventional problems,
It was completed with the aim of producing a pipe wrench that has minimal tooth wear and can have a sufficient lifespan even when made of Cu-Be alloy.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention provides an L-shaped maxillary body that is provided with second teeth facing the first teeth on the head of the wrench body with first teeth formed at the tip. In this pipe wrench, the first tooth and the second tooth are formed to be inclined in the direction in which the back expands, and a third tooth is also formed on the lower surface of the shaft of the maxillary body. It is characterized by having teeth formed thereon.

(Embodiment) Next, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the illustrated embodiment. In FIG. This is an L-shaped upper jaw body that is attached to this support box 2 with a round nut 6 so that it can move forward and backward. A screw 7 is formed in the rear half of the shaft portion of the maxillary body 5, and a round nut 6 rotatably provided in the support box 2 is screwed into this screw 7 to rotate the round nut 6. maxillary body 5
It has a structure that allows it to move forward and backward. Wrench body 1
A pair of guide plates 8, 8 are protruded from the upper part of the head 3, and a spring 9 provided inside the guide plates 10 pushes up the rear part of the maxillary body 5 through the plate 10. As a result, a rotational moment is applied to rotate the maxillary body 5 in a direction in which the tip thereof faces downward.

In the present invention, the first tooth 11 is formed at the tip of the head 3 of the wrench body 1, and the first tooth 11
Second teeth 12 are formed on the inner surface of the maxillary body 5 facing the maxillary body 5, but these teeth are formed to be narrow on the entrance side and inclined in the direction of widening at the back, contrary to conventional teeth. Furthermore, in the present invention, third teeth 13 are also formed on the lower surface of the shaft portion of the upper jaw body 5. These three teeth 11, 12, 13 may be made of the same material as the wrench body 1 and the upper jaw body 5 as in the past, but in the case of a safety tool made entirely of Cu-Be alloy, the teeth Preferably, teeth 11, 12, and 13 are replaceable as implants, and it is more preferable that these teeth are made of ceramic.

The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is of a type in which the maxillary body 5 can swing around a pin 4, but as shown in FIG. It is also possible to adopt a format in which the wrench body 1 is attached to the support part 14 with sufficient play, thereby allowing the upper jaw body 5 to swing over a predetermined range. Since the other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment, corresponding parts are given the same reference numerals and a description thereof will be omitted.

(Function) With this structure, the upper jaw body 5 is moved forward by operating the round nut 6, and the first tooth 11 is moved forward.
and the second teeth 12, and when the wrench main body 1 is moved up and down and the wrench main body 1 is moved down, the pipe 30 is rotated by biting the teeth into the wrench. When the main body is moved upward, the wrench main body 1 and the maxillary body 5 are rotated with respect to the pipe 30 by swinging in the direction in which the teeth of the upper jaw body 5 are loosened, and the pipe 30 is gradually rotated. It is similar to a conventional pipe wrench. However, in the present invention, the first tooth 11 and the second tooth
Since the teeth 12 are inclined in the direction in which the rear side widens, contrary to the conventional case, when the wrench main body 1 is moved down, the first teeth 11 and the second teeth 12 are aligned with the pipe 30.
Moreover, since the third teeth 13 are formed on the lower surface of the shaft of the upper jaw body 5, the pipe 30 is supported at three points by these three teeth. It will be rotated while being rotated.
Therefore, the force acting on each tooth is significantly reduced compared to conventional pipe wrenches, and the amount of wear on the teeth is also significantly reduced, as well as damage caused by teeth biting on the outer surface of the pipe 30. That will happen. In particular, this invention is designed to use spark-free Cu for the entire pipe wrench.
-It is advantageous to form the teeth with Be alloy, and even better effects can be obtained if the first, second, and third teeth are made of hard ceramic implants that can be easily replaced. can.

(Effects of the invention) As is clear from the above explanation, the invention has three
Providing two teeth reduces the amount of wear on the teeth and allows the pipe to rotate more reliably, which produces excellent effects when used in Cu-Be safety tools. . Therefore, the present invention has extremely great practical value as it solves the conventional problems.
