Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a page to be certainly turned over leaf by leaf by preventing many page from being turned over at one time by a method wherein swelling operation of an upper layer page is realized by rotating a roller under a state wherein a clearance is generated between respective pages of a booklet and thereafter, the page is turned over. CONSTITUTION:Conveying rollers 5, 6 capable of fixing a bound side end part A of a booklet 2 of bankbook or the like, rollers 3, 4 which fix a turning over side end part B and are equipped with a page turning over function, and a pushing up means 7 which is located at an almost middle of both rollers 6, 4 and can generate bend deformation in a specific direction to the booklet 2, are established. Then, the bound side end part A of the booklet 2 is fixed by pinching with the rollers 5, 6, and the rollers 3, 4 on the turning over side end part B are released. Thereafter, the booklet 2 is pushed up by the pushing up means 7. Then, the pushing up means 7 is lowered by fixing by pinching with the rollers 3, 4 on the turning over side end part B, and the roller 3 is rotated under a state in which a clearance C is generated between respective pages of the booklet 2. Then, swelling operation of an upper layer page is realized and thereafter, the page is turned over.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Summary] This invention is applied to a printer device that handles booklets such as passbooks used in financial terminals, etc., and relates to an automatic page break method for changing the pages of the booklet. The purpose of this invention is to provide an automatic page-breaking method for reliably page-breaking a booklet such as a passbook, which does not cause multiple page-turning under dependent conditions. A transport roller that can fix the edge, a roller that has a page turning function that fixes the turning side edge and can release it, and a roller that is located approximately in the middle of both rollers and causes the booklet to bend in a certain direction. After the binding side end of the booklet is clamped and fixed by the rollers and the roller at the turning side end is released, the booklet is pushed up by the pushing up means, and then the turning side end is pushed up. The booklet is clamped and fixed by rollers, the pushing up means is lowered, and the rollers are rotated in a state where gaps are created between each page of the booklet to begin the operation of inflating the upper page, and then a page change is performed.

The light of e is reflected by mirror f and received by photodiode S2). Note that the rollers 4.6 are opened/closed by a PM (not shown). 13 is a guide plate, and roller 5
It is formed to be rotatable around the shaft of the holder, and is locked during normal transport to guide the media to prevent jams, and rotates as the media changes during page breaks. Both sides of the rollers 3.4 are symmetrically configured to allow opposite movements when reversing the page.

The conventional page turning system is shown in FIGS. 5(A) to 5(E), and FIG. 5(A) shows the bankbook 2 set in the page turning mechanism. Initially, the bankbook 2 is fixed by rollers 5.6 and 3.4. Next, the roller 3.4 is released, the push-up lever (push-up means) 7 deforms the passbook 2 as shown in Figure 5 (b), and the roller 3.4 is closed again to perform the inflating operation (roller 3 is pushed up). In the conventional page breaking method, the push-up lever 7 is held up during the bulge, that is, the entire passbook 2 remains bent and deformed, and the bulge occurs without the pages being separated from each other. , there is a risk that pages will be changed at the same time, causing so-called multiple page turning.

The booklet 2 is held in a fixed position, and the pushing means 7 is lowered, and the roller 3 is rotated with a gap C created between each page of the booklet 2, and the operation of inflating the upper page is started, and then a page break is performed. This problem is solved by the automatic page break method of the present invention.

The above-mentioned problem is caused by the booklet 2 such as a passbook as shown in Figure 1.
An automatic page change method, comprising: a transport roller 5 capable of fixing a binding side edge A of the booklet 2;
.. 6, a roller 3.4 having a page turning function that fixes the turning side end B and can release it, and a roller 3.4 located approximately in the middle of both rollers 6.4, which causes the booklet 2 to bend in a certain direction. After the binding side end A of the booklet 2 is clamped and fixed by the rollers 5.6 and the roller 3.4 at the turning side end B is released, the booklet 2 is pushed up by the pushing up means 7. The booklet 2 is pushed up and then pinched by the roller 3.4 at the turning end B. [Function] In other words, the passbook 2 is fixed by the conveyance roller 5.6 and the conveyance/page feed roller 3.4 in FIG. After releasing the rollers 4 from (a) to Fig. 1 (b), stopping the excitation of the rollers 5.6 (excitation of the motor that rotates the rollers 5.6), and firmly clamping the binding side edge, push up. After deforming with the lever (pushing means) 7, the roller 4 is closed as shown in Fig. 1 (c), and the roller 3.4 is excited and stopped (the motor that rotates the mouth 5.6 is excited). , the free end is fixed, and then the excitation of the roller 5.6 is released, and the push-up lever 7 is lowered as shown in FIG. 1(d).

That is, as shown in Fig. 2 (a), the same-shaped gills 14 are placed one on top of the other, one side is strongly clamped from above and below, the other free end is bent in the direction of the arrow, and the free end is folded as shown in Fig. 2 (b). If the end side is caused to shift due to deformation, and in this state the free end side is clamped as shown in Figure 2 (C), and the bending action is removed as shown in Figure 2 (D), the second As shown in Figure (d), "gaps" occur between each sheet of paper due to uneven lengths of the sheets due to changes in geometric conditions. This phenomenon can be obtained without depending on paper quality such as paper stiffness and friction coefficient, or environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.

Since the bulge caused by this "gap" directly determines the direction of buckling, each sheet is reliably turned over one by one, and there is no possibility of multiple turning.

Conventionally, the pushing up means (pushing lever 7) that forcibly sets the buckling direction is held up until the inflating operation starts, and the repulsive force caused by the bending of the container causes frictional force between the pages, resulting in multiple turning. was encouraging. In contrast, in the method of the present invention, the buckling direction is directly determined by the bulge caused by the "gap" between pages without using a push-up means during the bulging operation, and a large number of pages are engaged as in the conventional method. The pages will not be broken all at once while the pages are still aligned.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, according to the present invention, before changing the operating conditions and starting the inflating operation, "gaps" already exist between pages, and the coherence between pages becomes weak. This prevents multiple page turning and makes it possible to reliably change pages one by one.
