An analysis of the absorbent material of conventional diapers reveals that most of the disposable diapers currently on the market are of the band-like type that covers the area from the belly button through the crotch to the area directly behind the belly button. , attaching adhesive tape or attaching elastic yarn to both sides to make the leg area close when worn and to prevent urine from leaking from the groin area.
Although various new diapers have been released one after another, the area to which the diaper is applied remains the same as described above. Additionally, this type of diaper absorbs or retains both urine and feces.

When the wearer urinates, the urine is absorbed into the diaper, but the urine seeps into the diaper from the crotch to the groin area, causing (1) ammonia dermatitis in infants and (2) elderly people in bed. The patient is susceptible to pressure ulcers (bedsores).

Since the covering area is large from the front through the crotch to the back, and a large amount of material is used, the cost is high, and of course the price is also high, which is a heavy financial burden when used on a daily basis.

Unless there is diarrhea, the number of defecations and urination in a day is usually around 5 to 7 times per defecation, which is an overwhelmingly high number of times, and it is thought that it is good to have a diaper specifically for urinating. The present invention is based on this.

When considering a diaper exclusively for urination, it must be an absorbent material that can only be applied to the private parts and its surroundings. It is necessary to provide a mechanism on the surface of the absorbent material to prevent urine from leaking out of the diaper.

In order to satisfy these four points, a strip of paper or pulp is placed in a water-impermeable bag, the surface of the bag is opened,
We made and tested a prototype diaper in which the opening is applied to the private parts, but if the opening was only provided in the bag, urine would not leak out of the bag during use, but instead would be absorbed by the absorbent material inside the bag. It turned out to be extremely difficult.

Therefore, an attempt was made to provide a recess in the absorbent body at the opening of the bag, but it was difficult to provide the recess, and
It has been found that even if a bag is provided, it is difficult to maintain the depth of the recess required to receive urine and absorb it into the absorbent body of the bag, and to maintain the shape of the recess during use.

Therefore, the inventor conducted research and created an absorbent material by spirally winding a mat consisting of two layers: a highly absorbent material and a material that is absorbent and has a certain strength while retaining flexibility. Prototype the formed one,
By bending this into a roughly horseshoe shape, it has become possible to easily create a space to receive urine at the same position as the opening of the non-water permeable bag.

As a result of further intensive research, we formed a band-like thin part on a flexible and water-absorbing flat element body, and by winding this, the internal space corresponding to the thin part became approximately spiral in diameter. Alternatively, by configuring it so that it has a roughly spiral shape along the center line direction, the density of the bent part does not become excessive, it maintains flexibility, eliminates the anti-fitting property of a cylindrical shape, and reduces the delicate surroundings of the local area. We have completed the absorbent body of the present invention, which is a disposable absorbent body exclusively for urination that fits well to the body shape, and also a disposable absorbent body for sanitary use, which solves the above-mentioned problems at once.

Reference numeral 1 denotes an absorber, and this absorber 1 has a flat plate-like element body 10 having a thin wall portion 11 of 30 to 70% in unit volume ratio, that is, in terms of weight ratio, in the longitudinal direction. It is wound spirally and formed into a substantially round rod shape having an internal space 12 corresponding to the thin wall portion 11 .

The base body 10 is made of one member or two members, a fabric 10a and a polymerized fabric 10b shown in the drawings, and in the case of the former, it is made of paper or nonwoven fabric that has a certain degree of strength, flexibility, and water absorption for shape retention. or a mixture of this with soft and highly absorbent pulverized pulp and hydrophilic fibers such as rayon and acetate, or a material made by adding highly absorbent polymers and/or highly odor-absorbing activated carbon to these. In the latter case, the fabric 10a is made of paper or nonwoven fabric that has a certain degree of strength for shape retention, flexibility, and water absorption, and the polymer fabric 10b is made of pulverized pulp that is flexible and highly water absorbent. and hydrophilic fibers such as rayon, acetate, paper, or a combination thereof, or a material in which a highly water-absorbing polymer and/or highly odor-absorbing activated carbon is added, and the polymer fabric 10b has a thin wall portion 11 on the fabric 10a. They are integrally polymerized so that one or two or more are formed. Further, it is desirable to extend the adhesive portion 10c along the upper edge of the fabric 10a, thereby making it possible to shield and isolate the internal space 12 formed corresponding to the thin-walled portion 11 from the outside, and to substantially eliminate the absorbent body. It can be arranged into a round bar shape.

The thin wall portion 11 has a width of approximately 0.5 to 1.5 cm and is shaped like a vertical band, a diagonal band, or a combination thereof.
The internal space 12 formed corresponding to 1 has a substantially spiral cross-section, and has a water retention function without hindering the physical expansion of the polymerized fabric 10b due to water absorption, and has a thin wall that accompanies the curvature and bending of the absorbent body itself. It functions as a space in which the curved part 11 can move and a space in which the overlapping part 12 can move.

In both the infant diaper, the sanitary absorbent body, and the adult male urination bag described above, the highly water-absorbent polymer in the absorbent body turns urine or menstrual fluid into a gel within a few minutes, so there is no risk of leakage.

Especially in the case of adult male (female) urinary bags, it should be kept within reach as a nighttime urinary bag for patients who are alert but have difficulty walking or are unable to walk due to physical illness or illness. For example, the patient can urinate into the urinary bag by himself or herself, and the patient also has the added convenience that urine will not flow out of the urinary bag even if he or she throws it under the bed after urinating.

It has the shape of a round rod and can be bent, curved, or rolled up freely from the position of its internal space, and is useful because it can be freely shaped into a desired shape according to the purpose, regardless of the direction of bending or curving. However, it does not cause an increase in material density around bent or curved parts, eliminates hardening phenomenon, retains flexibility, and is comfortable to wear.
