フトに周溝を設け、該周溝にリングを嵌合したこ
とを特徴とする衝撃吸収式ステアリングコラム装
置。 (2) ジヤケツトに回転可能に軸支されたアツパ
ーシヤフトとロアーシヤフトが同軸で嵌合し、か
つ、アツパーシヤフトの下端部にオスセレーシヨ
ンを形成してロアーシヤフトのメスセレーシヨン
と所定の圧入荷重で係合させて軸方向へ収縮可能
な衝撃吸収式ステアリングコラム装置において、
前記アツパーシヤフトのオスセレーシヨンに周溝
を形成し、該周溝にスチールボールを嵌合すると
ともに、前記アツパーシヤフトにセレーシヨン係
合をしていない部位で周溝を設け、該周溝にリン
グを嵌合したことを特徴とする衝撃吸収式ステア
