し下げつつ傾動して前記弁装置を前記押上突部か
ら離間させるようにしたものである。

部4にこれの上部を覆う如く着脱可能に装着した
霧化室カバーで、上部には霧吐出口体9が設けら
れている。10は本体ケース2の左右両側壁に形
成された取手部(第1図に左側のみ図示)、11
は本体ケース2の下面に設けられた底板である。
12は本体ケース2内に上下動可能に設けられた

近傍部位にて支持されるようになつている。そし
て、カートリツジタンク16を支持部6と支持部
材12の上端部との間にわたつて略水平に載置し
た状態にあつては、第3図に示すように押上突部
5が弁棒23の下端鍔部23aに当接して弁棒2
3を押上げており、これにて弁装置26が開放状
態にされて加湿器本体1の貯水部4の水位が定水
位Bを維持するようにカートリツジタンク16か
ら水が供給される。即ちその定水位維持は、貯水
部4内の水位がキヤツプ18下端面以下に下がる
と水面とキヤツプ18下端面との間に間隙が生じ
円筒部19からカートリツジタンク16内に空気
が流入し、その分カートリツジタンク16内の水
が貯水部4内に供給され、これにて貯水部4内の
水位が上昇して、キヤツプ18下端面が水面によ
り封止されるとカートリツジタンク16内への空
気の流入が止まつて貯水部4内への給水が停止さ
れるという動作の繰返しにより行なわれるもので
ある。一方、カートリツジタンク16に水を補給
する等するために該カートリツジタンク16を加
湿器本体1から取り上げると、弁棒23の下端鍔
部23aが押上突部5から離れるため、第4図に
示すように弁棒23がスプリング25の付勢力に
より下方に移動されて弁体24が円筒部19の上
端開口を閉鎖し、これにて弁装置26が閉鎖状態
となりカートリツジタンク16からの水の流出は
停止される。

ジタンクを載置したまま機器本体を持ち運ぶ場合
に、カートリツジタンク内の液が機器本体の貯液
部に供給されて該貯液部の液位が上昇することを
防止し得るという優れた実用的効果を奏するもの
である。
