  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 平行に配設された複数本の垂直転送レジス
    タ、 各垂直転送レジスタの出力を各ビツトに受ける
    第１の水平転送レジスタ、 この水平転送レジスタと各ビツトが対応付けら
    れて並設された第２の水平転送レジスタ、 上記第１の水平転送レジスタの各ビツトから上
    記第２の水平転送レジスタの各ビツトへ情報電荷
    を直接転送する転送手段、 上記第１の水平転送レジスタの出力端と上記第
    ２の水平転送レジスタの入力端とを折返して接続
    する接続レジスタ、 上記第２の水平転送レジスタの出力端に接続さ
    れた出力部、 を備えたことを特徴とする固体撮像素子。 (2) 上記第１及び第２の水平転送レジスタは、
    情報電荷を互いに逆方向に転送することを特徴と
    する請求項第１項記載の固体撮像素子。
