In respiratory protection devices, respiratory protection filters must clean the inhaled air and retain harmful components. To this end, the respiratory protection filter has a floating matter filter and a gas filter, which are successively passed by the suction air. A respiratory protection filter is connected to a respiratory connection and used as a filter device or an evacuation filter device. Respiratory protection filters are practically portable, and their use is convenient if they require little space and are easy to integrate.

号明細書)。 The known filter-type respiratory protection device, in particular as a filter-type self-survivor for mining, has a casing in which a plurality of filter materials are arranged in a flat circular cross-section with an opening in the end face. Attached to individual casing parts. The housing parts have a common container in which the filter material is connected one after the other by a flat air channel. The outflow opening of the last passed casing part opens into a further air passage to a connecting piece such as a mouthpiece for the respiratory tract. The upstream air inlet opening of the first housing part is closed in the ready state by a tap. The container is made of gas and water vapor impermeable weldable plastic. Despite its flat construction, this respiratory protection filter is considerably longer and therefore more inconvenient due to the two circular cross-section casing parts arranged at the front and rear (West German Patent No. 1149999).
No. Specification).

The filter for suspended matter is arranged concentrically in the casing part with sector-shaped cross section in relation to the gas filter present in the casing part with circular cross-section, and the two triangular chambers formed between the two casing parts are connected to the inlet pipe piece. Alternatively, it has an outlet pipe and is connected to each other via a passage, a suspended matter filter and a gas filter. The casing can be manufactured inexpensively by injection molding. By means of the cover of the respective housing part, the suspended solids filter and the gas filter can be integrated individually directly into the housing part or can be preassembled and fitted outside as a complete filter unit. A cover then closes the casing, for example by gluing. By suitably arranging the inlet and outlet tubes vertically or laterally above or below the casing, a good portability is possible.

An inlet pipe piece 12 opens into the triangular chamber 11 formed in this case, and an outlet pipe piece 14 opens into the triangular chamber 13 . The triangular chamber 11 is connected to the floating matter filter 2 via a passage 15, and the floating matter filter is connected to the gas filter 3 via a passage 16. The aspirated and filtered air flows downstream of the gas filter through the channel 17 via the triangular chamber 13 and the outlet fitting 14 to the respiratory connection.
