  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ピストンのストローク時に減衰力を発生するデ
    イスクバルブと、このデイスクバルブの曲げ剛性
    を変化させて発生減衰力を変化可能に設けられた
    圧電素子とを有した液圧緩衝器と、 前記液圧緩衝器内液室の液圧を検出し、液圧に
    応じた液圧信号を発生する液圧センサと、 前記液圧緩衝器に支持された車体の上下方向加
    速度を検出して、加速度に応じた加速度信号を発
    生する加速度センサと、 前記液圧信号に基づいた液圧緩衝器のストロー
    ク方向の判断と、加速度信号に基づいた車体の傾
    斜方向の判断とによつて車両の走行状態を判断し
    、この判断結果に応じて圧電素子の駆動を制御す
    る減衰力制御手段と、 を備えていることを特徴とするサスペンシヨンシ
    ステム。
