従来の排気ガス浄化用フイルタの縦断面図、第５
図は従来フイルタを装着した内燃機関の排気管系
の一部切断概略図、第６図は模式的に示したセラ
ミツク製フイルタを示し、同図ａは側面図、ｂは
縦断面図である。また第７図は第６図ａの部分拡
大図である。 ２……内燃機関、３……排気管系、４……ハウ
ジング、５……バーナ、１０……セラミツク製フ
イルタ体、１１……多孔質薄壁、１２……ガス通
路、１２ａ，１２′ａ……入口側、１２ｂ，１２
′ｂ……出口側、１３……目封じ材。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 多孔質薄壁により仕切られた多数の通路を互い
    に平行に形成するとともに、相隣接するガス通路
    の入口側と出口側とを交互に目封じ材により閉塞
    し、かかるガス通路の入口側から導入された排気
    ガスが前記薄壁を通過する際排気ガス中の未燃焼
    成分を捕集し、これを燃焼せしめるようにしたセ
    ラミツク製フイルタ体をもつ排気ガス浄化用フイ
    ルタにおいて、ガス通路の入口側における目封じ
    材の厚さを、セラミツク製フイルタ体の周縁部か
    ら中心部にかけて順次厚くなるように形成したこ
    とを特徴とする排気ガス浄化用フイルタ。
