Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the whistling noise of wind and improve the sealing property by integrally molding the peripheral part of each slide glass in the front and rear with a synthetic resin and making a hollow part formed by the meeting parts thereof when a window is closed. CONSTITUTION:A front frame 2 and a rear frame 3 are molded integrally with the circumferential parts of slide glasses 4, 5, respectively using a synthetic resin. The 2a, 3a molded parts forming the center parts of the front frame 2 and the rear frame 3 form a hollow shape when closed. A weather strip 7 is adhered to the concave part of the front frame center part 2a. Hence, the window frame is excellent in sealing property, and produces little whistling noise of wind during running. As the hollow part is formed when closed, it has a rigidity to the interior directional load. The synthetic resin molding of the glass peripheral parts causes no cloud and rust even if the both center parts are contacted each other when closed. The thickness of each front and rear frame can be reduced, and also the generation of dew water can be prevented.
