Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) シートクツシヨンの側部に固定されるベー
    スフレームと、このベースフレームにタウメル機
    構を介して回動可能に枢支され、かつ回動端がシ
    ートバツクの側部に結合されるリクライニングア
    ームと、前記ベースフレーム又はリクライニング
    アームに装着される前記タウメル機構駆動用のモ
    ータユニツトと、前記タウメル機構の回転軸端に
    設けられ、かつ前記モータユニツトの出力端に連
    動して回転するリクライニングギヤとを備えたシ
    ートリクライニング装置において、前記モータユ
    ニツトがモータと、このモータの出力端に結合さ
    れ出力軸を設けた減速ギヤ機構とからなり、前記
    モータおよび減速ギヤ機構と前記出力軸とが前記
    ベースフレーム又はリクライニングアームを挟ん
    で両側に対向して配置されたことを特徴とするシ
    ートリクライニング装置。 (2) シートクツシヨンの側部に固定されるベー
    スフレームと、このベースフレームにタウメル機
    構を介して回動可能に枢支され、かつ回動端がシ
    ートバツクの側部に結合されるリクライニングア
    ームと、前記ベースフレーム又はリクライニング
    アームに装着される前記タウメル機構駆動用のモ
    ータユニツトと、前記タウメル機構の回転軸端に
    設けられ、かつ前記モータユニツトの出力端に連
    動して回転するリクライニングギヤとを備えたシ
    ートリクライニング装置において、前記リクライ
    ニングギヤが前記ベースプレートとリクライニン
    グアームとの枢支部を被覆するホルダープレート
    内に配置されたことを特徴とするシートリクライ
    ニング装置。
