４図は本体上部ケースならびに上部定着ケースの
開放状態を示す静電写真複写機の縦断側面図、第
５図は本体上部ケースが開放され且つ上部定着ケ
ースが閉塞下に置かれた状態を示す静電写真複写
機の縦断側面図である。第６図以降は別実施例の
熱定着装置を示し、第６図は上部定着ケースが閉
塞下にある熱定着装置の側面図、第７図は上部定
着ケースが開放下にある熱定着装置の側面図、第
８図は閉塞下にある上部定着ケースを人為的に開
放させた状態を示す熱定着装置の側面図である。 ４Ａ……本体下部ケース、４Ｂ……本体上部ケ

Claims (1)
- 上部定着ケースを下部定着ケースに開閉自在に
連結した熱定着装置を、画像形成装置本体の上部
ケースを開閉自在に連結した画像形成装置本体の
下部ケースに設けると共に、前記画像形成装置本
体上部ケースの開放に伴つて、前記熱定着装置が
所定の温度以下であるときに前記上部定着ケース
を開放させ且つ前記熱定着装置が前記所定の温度
を越えているときには前記上部定着ケースを閉塞
下に置く開閉手段を設けてあることを特徴とする
画像形成装置。
