Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 少なくとも像担持体上に形成されたトナー像を
転写材に転写する転写放電手段と、該転写放電手
段より前記転写材搬送方向下流側に設けられ前記
転写放電手段によつて前記転写材に付与された電
荷を中和するための所定の電圧が印加される針状
放電分離手段とを備えた画像形成装置において、 前記転写放電手段より転写材搬送方向上流側に
前記転写材の剛性を検知する検知手段を設けると
共に、該検知手段の検知結果に基づいて前記針状
放電分離手段への前記所定の電圧の印加／遮断を
制御することを特徴とする画像形成装置。
