等に使用されていた。しかしながら、かかるコル
ゲート二重壁管は曲がりにくい欠点があつた。即
ち、外壁2の凸部21においては外壁2と内壁1
との間に所定の間隔が保たれているので、この部
分でコルゲート二重壁管を曲げることが困難であ
り、また、外壁2の凹部22においては該外壁2
と内壁1とが熱融着によつて一体化されているの
でその部分の肉厚が厚くなり、高い曲げ強度を保
有するようになることから、この部分でコルゲー
ト二重壁管を曲げることが困難で、曲げられたと
してもその曲率半径が極めて大きなものにならざ
るを得ず、比較的小さい曲率半径に曲げて使用す
ることが必要な場合にはその使用が不可能になる
