Claims (1)
ルクをトーシヨンバーおよび歯車装置を介してポ
テンシヨメータにより検出し、前記ポテンシヨメ
ータからの出力信号に対応して電動機を駆動し、
ステアリング軸に対してパワーアシスト制御する
電動式パワーステアリングにおいて、前記トーシ
ヨンバーおよび歯車装置を収納するカバーおよび
センサーハウジング、該センサーハウジングに固
着されるポテンシヨメータを互いに非分解の一体
固定構造としたことを特徴とする電動式パワース
テアリング。 (2) 前記ポテンシヨメータは2箇所の互いに直
交する2面のフランジ部を有し、該フランジ部の
2面を前記ハウジングの対応する直交2面に当接
して封止状態に固定したことを特徴とする請求項
第1項記載の電動式パワーステアリング。 (3) 前記ポテンシヨメータの軸線に垂直なフラ
ンジ部の面と前記ハウジングとの間にシムをはさ
み、該ポテンシヨメータの中立電圧位置を前記シ
ムによつて予め調整しておき、調整後非分解状態
に固定したことを特徴とする請求項第2項記載の
電動式パワーステアリング。 (4) 前記歯車装置は遊星歯車装置を含み、該遊
星歯車装置の前記ハウジングに取り付けられる固
定側リングギアの外周に形成された溝に該ハウジ
ングからピンを挿入して該ピンをカシメ固定した
ことを特徴とする請求項第1項記載の電動式パワ
ーステアリング。 (5) 前記電動機の出力軸に、同軸固定される小
歯車、該小歯車に噛合する大歯車が同軸固定され
る中間軸、該中間軸の端部に同軸固定される第2
の小歯車、該第2の小歯車に噛合する第2の大歯
車および第2の大歯車が同軸固定されるピニオン
軸において、該4種の歯車はヘリカルギアであり
、前記出力軸、前記中間軸、および前記ピニオン
軸は、軸方向にバツクラツシユ無く、各軸の一端
側のみにて位置決めされていることを特徴とする
