なる。 When printing printed matter that will be used as packaging bags for instant foods, frozen foods, or other goods, multiple sheets of web-like raw film are joined together with adhesive tape to form a roll, which is then mounted on a rotary printing machine. After the printing is finished, the paper is rolled up to form a rolled printed matter, which is then shipped as a product from a printing company to a food company or the like. Food companies and the like manufacture individual packaged products by loading printed matter onto a packaging machine, unwinding it one after another, and subjecting it to processing such as folding, filling, heat-sealing, and cutting.

After removing this part by cutting it out with a cutter knife or the like, the prints before and after it are joined together with adhesive tape in the margins between the pictures so that the repeating pattern of the picture does not collapse.

を提供するものである。 However, if printing is done on film etc.
There is a printed pattern in the middle of the film, and eye marks, color marks, etc. are also printed on the side edges of the film, so a detection device that simply uses a photoelectric converter cannot detect the presence of the printed pattern. Even if you use the side edge of the film that does not have an eye mark, just like adhesive tape,
It also detects color marks and the like, so it cannot be used as a device for detecting seams in printed matter. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned points, and includes a device for detecting seams of a rolled-up printed matter that is printed after joining a plurality of original films with an adhesive tape. , a device comprising means for distinguishing a printed mark such as an eye mark from a base film, and a means for distinguishing the adhesive tape from the printed mark, and capable of detecting a seam in a rolled printed matter by detecting the adhesive tape. This is what we provide.

After the electric signal is amplified by the amplification circuit 9, the base film portion of the printed matter 1 is converted to H by the binarization circuit 10.
On the level, portions such as adhesive tapes and eye marks whose reflectance is lower than a certain appropriate amount than the base film are binarized into L level. In the binary signal, the L level portion corresponding to the tape is , and the L level portion corresponding to the eye mark is .

できる。 When the photoelectric converter 8 detects an adhesive tape, an eye mark, etc., the output of the edge detection circuit 11 becomes L level for several microseconds like a load signal, and the data output of the counter 12 becomes the preset switch 1.
The value set in step 3 will be used. The counter 12 counts the pulses of the clock signal only while the binarized signal is at the L level, and when it counts down from the value set by the preset switch 13 and reaches 0, the detection signal is equal to half a pulse of the clock signal. It becomes L level. The display circuit 14 outputs a signal to drive the alarm 15 when the detection signal becomes L level,
Alert the worker. By the way, the width of the adhesive tape and the eye mark is usually wide, so
For example, if the L level portion of the above binary signal is equivalent to 20 pulses of the clock signal, and the same is equivalent to 10 pulses, and the preset switch 13 is set to a value of 15, the detection signal output from the counter 12 will be The alarm 15 can be activated only when the adhesive tape is detected, because it is at the L level for half a pulse of the clock signal only during the counting period and remains at the H level during the counting period.
