イメージセンサユニツトと、この電気信号を符号

画像信号を受けて感熱記録紙に印字する記録部と
から成る画像形成装置において、 前記記録部の発熱抵抗体の発熱量を制御するス
トローブパルスを発生するCPUと、所定のスト
ローブ巾にする分周回路と、このストローブ信号
をブロツク別に切換えて発信する発信回路と、こ
のストローブ信号を監視するストローブ巾監視回
路と、前記分周回路と前記ストローブ巾監視回路
をリセツトするラツチ回路と、前記ストローブ巾
監視回路がタイムアツプすると、ゲートを閉じる
ゲート回路とを設けたことを特徴とする画像形成
装置。 (2) ストローブ巾監視回路のタイムアツプによ
つて、ストローブ発生の中断状態を継続するロツ
クモードと、中断後自然復帰可能の自然復帰モー
ドとを、選択可能に設けたことを特徴とする、実
