Claims (5)
- 1.1つの組の1つのポートで受光される光パルス信号が他の組の各ポート内に ほぼ等しく接合された第1及び第2組の光結合ポートを有する接合手段と、 上記第1組のポートと共に光学的に接合される光導波路であって、この光導波路 は上記第1組ポートの間に等しくない距離で配置された物質部分を有すると共に 、非線形部分を通過させる為に第1カウンタ伝達パルスの非線形部分での効率が 第1パルスに応じて第2カウンタ伝達パルスの位相を変化させるのに十分である 緩和時間を有する非線形屈折率を有している光導波路と、 を備えていることを特徴とする光学装置。
- 2.上記非線形部分は、所定の入力パルスの為に上記非線形部分で重なる上記カ ウンタ伝達パルスを防止するために上記光導波路の中央点からわずかに離れた位 置に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学装置。
- 3.上記非線形部分は、CdSxS1−xがドープされたガラスであることを特 徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光学装置。
- 4.上記光導波路は、モノモードの光ファイバであることを特徴とする請求項1 乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の光学装置。
- 5.上記光導波路は、プラナー(planar)導波路であることを特徴とする 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の光学装置。
