ノズルから出た糸の周囲に付着した微小繊維が糸
から離れ、空気紡績ノズルの周囲に飛散し堆積す
る。この堆積した繊維の内、仮撚ベルトの背面等
に落下したものはプーリーの回転と共にプーリー
外周面とベルト内周面とによる圧縮を繰り返され
て、かつ両者間の摩擦による発熱のために固化し

り、該変動のためにニツプ面間のニツプ圧が変動
し、仮撚の付加にも極めて重大な変化を与える。
また、プーリー表面に付着した繊維屑等のために
プーリー表面はその径を増大したと同様な状態と
なり、仮撚ベルト走行速度にも影響を与え、ひい
ては仮撚数にも変化を生ずることになつた。
