This voltage detection insulator 1 has a voltage detection capacitor 3 built into a high voltage or special high voltage insulator 2, and high voltage side terminals 4 each connected to a capacitor 3 to the same insulator 2.
When detecting the circuit voltage, a detection resistor 6 is connected to the low voltage side terminal 5 as shown in the first diagram, and a voltage detection resistor 6 is connected to the resistor 6. When detecting zero-phase voltage by connecting neon lamps 7 in parallel, each of the three insulators 2 is connected to each phase of the three-phase electric circuit to the high-voltage side terminal 4, as shown in the second diagram. Detection is performed by connecting the zero-phase voltage detection transformer 8 to the low voltage side terminal 5, but if these equipment wirings are connected normally,
Since the capacitor 3 has a small capacity, at commercial frequency,
The impedance of the detection resistor 6, the neon lamp 7 for voltage detection, or the transformer 8 is set to a sufficiently small impedance compared to this. As a result of voltage division by the neon lamp 7 or the capacitor 3 and the transformer 8, the wiring connecting the low voltage side terminal 5 and the detection resistor 6 and the neon lamp 7 for voltage detection, or the wiring connecting the low voltage side terminal 5 and the transformer 8 is usually a low voltage potential of 700V or less. In the unlikely event that the wiring connecting the low voltage side terminal 5 and the detection resistor 6 and the neon lamp 7 for voltage detection, or the wiring connecting the low voltage side terminal 5 and the transformer 8, becomes disconnected or cut due to negligence or accident. In this case, the load is opened and the high voltage of the primary circuit applied to the high voltage side terminal 4 is transferred to the low voltage side terminal 5 without voltage division.
This has the drawback that high voltage is generated in the wiring connected to it, creating an extremely dangerous situation.

As described above, the present invention provides a voltage detection insulator comprising a voltage detection capacitor built-in and a high voltage side terminal and a low voltage side terminal respectively connected to the voltage detection capacitor, in which a protective grounding terminal is provided. Since a voltage limiting element is connected between this protective grounding terminal and the low voltage side terminal, if the voltage detection insulator according to the present invention is used to detect circuit voltage or zero-sequence voltage, it will be possible to prevent faulty or faulty wiring of these devices. If it comes off due to an accident,
For example, even if a neon lamp for voltage detection, a detection resistor, a transformer for zero-phase voltage detection, etc. are disconnected, due to the function of the voltage limiting element, the high voltage or special high voltage of the electric circuit will not appear on the low voltage side terminal, and the insulator will be safe. can be provided.
