<Prior art> A wet sander machine supplies cleaning liquid to the surface of an endless sanding belt to grind and polish the workpiece.
It is well known as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 49-3438, Japanese Patent Publication No. 51-43237, and Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-42839. These systems supply cleaning liquid from the surface of the sanding belt to moisten and cool the surface to improve the polished surface of the workpiece and to remove polishing debris attached to the belt surface. .

<Problems to be solved by the invention> By the way, all of these conventional devices are
A cleaning liquid was supplied to the outer surface of an impermeable sanding belt made of a resin film or the like as a base material, and a removal roll, removal belt, etc. was attached at a position in front of the belt in the running direction, and the cleaning liquid was applied to the belt surface. The structure was such that the liquid was removed from the surface. For this reason, the abrasive debris stuck between the abrasive grains on the belt surface receives liquid pressure, roll pressure, or belt pressure from the surface, and is constantly subjected to an inward force on the belt, and the effect of that force itself is This has the effect of pushing the polishing debris between the abrasive grains, and for this reason, the polishing debris could not be removed sufficiently.

Furthermore, since the liquid is scraped off from the surface of the belt by physical contact, the removal of the liquid is incomplete and the surface remains constantly wet, making it easy for the liquid to run down the surface and fall. As a result, there is a problem that the processed material gets wet and its surface gets contaminated.
This method cannot be applied to some processed materials. In addition, if you want to increase the liquid removal rate,
There is a limit because it is necessary to strongly press a spatula or the like against the belt surface side, which increases wear on the belt surface and impedes the running of the endless sanding belt.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention uses an impermeable endless sanding belt that is made by attaching abrasive grains to the surface of a base material such as cloth or resin film. The sanding belt is made of a breathable non-woven fabric belt, and a cleaning liquid supply section consisting of a plurality of liquid spray nozzles for supplying cleaning liquid to the surface is disposed on the surface side of the linear running part of the endless sanding belt. An air injection section consisting of a plurality of air nozzles arranged in a vertical direction with the mouth end facing the inner surface of the belt is disposed in the straight running section from the cleaning liquid supply section to the workpiece grinding section, and the air injection section A liquid recovery duct is provided on the outside of the belt so as to cover the surface of the belt.

<Function> In addition to supplying the cleaning liquid to the surface of the endless sanding belt, pressurized air is also circulated from the inside to the outside of the breathable nonwoven fabric belt, so that the cleaning liquid can remove the abrasive debris stuck between the abrasive grains on the belt surface. The cleaning liquid is discharged into the liquid recovery duct together with the cleaning liquid by the pressurized air. Therefore, polishing debris can be removed well.

That is, the grinding and polishing device 5 is fed onto the material feeding device 1, which has a material feeding belt 4 wrapped around the front and rear material feeding rolls 2 and 3, one of which is a drive roll, and the upper horizontal running section serving as the material feeding section. The grinding and polishing device 5 has a basic configuration in which the materials are placed opposite each other with a gap between them. An endless sanding belt 10 made of a nonwoven fabric belt is wrapped around the roll group. The workpiece is then ground and polished by the endless sanding belt 10 at the grinding portion of the workpiece where the pressing pad 6 is located.

In this embodiment, the endless sanding belt 10 is driven by the driving roll 7 to supply the workpiece to the material feeding path, and the cleaning liquid is supplied from the spray nozzle of the cleaning liquid supply section 22 to the belt surface. The cleaning water from this spray nozzle may be sprayed as pressurized water, or may simply be dripped by a positional water head. By supplying the cleaning liquid, the surface of the endless sanding belt 10 becomes wet and cooled. Pressurized air is then injected from the inside of the endless sanding belt 10 by the air injection section 20. Therefore, the cleaning liquid containing polishing debris remaining on the surface of the belt 10 is pushed outward by the pressure of the pressurized air that has passed through the fiber cavities of the belt 10, and is received by the liquid collection duct 21. It is collected from the outlet. By forcibly discharging the cleaning liquid and allowing pressurized air to pass through the endless sanding belt 10, polishing debris can be removed even better. Further, the cleaning liquid is collected in the liquid recovery duct 21, so that a small amount of the cleaning liquid adheres to the surface of the belt running from the air injection section 20. Then, at the grinding part of the processed material, an endless sanding belt 10
Since the workpiece is kept in a relatively dry state, wetting of the workpiece is prevented as much as possible, and the workpiece can be well adapted to grinding and polishing of the workpiece, which would otherwise be disadvantageous if moisture adhered thereto.

is arranged. A first liquid recovery duct 33 is provided on the surface side of the ascending linear traveling section, and includes a cleaning liquid supply section 30 and covering the first air injection section 31 via the belt 10. A second liquid recovery duct 34 is provided on the front surface side of the second liquid recovery duct 34 so as to cover the second air injection section 32 .

In such a configuration, the first air injection section 31 discharges most of the cleaning liquid within the endless sanding belt 10, and the second air injection section 32 further removes residual polishing debris and residual liquid within the endless sanding belt 10. The air injection parts 31 and 32 are provided on the left and right straight running parts of the endless sanding belt 10, respectively, because the rolls 7, 8, and 9 are equipped with a support frame, a tension cylinder, and a travel steering device (not shown). This is because there is a limit to the mounting space due to various attachments such as, and it cannot be placed only on one side.

In addition, in such a configuration, the air injection section 3
1 and 32 may be opened and closed differently to enable selective use. Through such control, the pressure can be adjusted depending on the adhesion state of sanding debris to the surface of the endless sanding belt 10 and the wet state. The amount of air to be injected can be adjusted, allowing efficient air injection.

<Effects of the Invention> As described above, the present invention forms an endless sanding belt with a breathable nonwoven fabric belt, and
Since the cleaning liquid is supplied to the surface of the endless sanding belt and the pressurized air is passed through the belt from the inside to the outside, polishing debris adhering to the surface of the sanding belt can be effectively removed. Therefore, the sanding belt can perform grinding and polishing as beautifully as possible. In addition, before reaching the grinding part of the workpiece, the cleaning liquid is supplied, the cleaning liquid is blown away by air, and the cleaning liquid is collected by the recovery duct in sequence, so the endless sanding belt is kept in a relatively dry state. It has excellent effects such as preventing the processed material from getting wet.
