Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable neglection of a process without need of separately providing an optical shielding material on the back or face of a cap to perform the same roll as the shielding plate. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 2 is mounted on a package 1, and a filter 4 is bonded onto the pellet 2 through resin 3, and finally a cap 5, on the back of which an optical shielding material 7 is provided, is sealed. Hereby, light reflected on a bonding pad section and the like in the package 1 is again reflected on the cap 5 and is incident upon a CCD optical detector element formed on the pellet 2 to prevent it from interfering with light directly incident on the optical detector element.
