置だけでは、左右の重量バランスを保つことが困
難で、重量物のある方に、車体の中心線から重心
が外れることがある。このような場合は、ハンド
ルから手を離して運転すると、重心がある側に前
輪が切れ込んで、直進走行安定性が劣ることにな

固着するようにしたので、前輪と後輪の中心を結
んだ線の上に重心ができて、車全体の左右のバラ
ンスが合致し、直進走行安定性の向上が図れる。
又、ヘツドパイプだけオフセツトして車体前端に
固着するだけでよいので、車体製作等、他に与え
る影響が少く、生産性がよい。そして、オフセツ
ト量も僅かであるので、ハンドル操作のときなど
に気づくこともなく、自然に操作できる範囲で処
理できる。
