れ、糸切りが確実に行えなくなることがあつた。
このため作業者が鋏により布に連なる糸を切る煩
雑な作業を要して作業能率を著しく低下する欠点
を有すると共に、布に連なる縫い糸の長さが一定
とならずに縫製品の品質低下する等の欠点を生じ
た。

面に倣うから常に上面に平行状態となるから両刃
部の係合が確実になると共に、また調節ねじによ
り調節体を回転して押圧部を移動刃の刃部に対応
する位置に移動させることができるので、移動刃
の刃部と固定刃の刃部との係合位置と押圧力の加
わる位置とが一致できるから両刃部の係合が強力
にでき、糸切りを常に確実にする効果が得られ
る。
