Traditionally, such mosaic decorative surfaces were created by craftsmen and artists by gluing together small pieces of tiles in various colors one by one. That is, for example, when a mosaic-like decoration is applied to a wall surface, mortar 14 is placed on the surface of the wall 13, as shown in FIG.
was painted, small tile pieces 11 were pasted one by one, and the joints 15 were filled to form a mosaic-like wall surface 16.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] With conventional manufacturing methods, it is extremely difficult to manufacture a plurality of decorative boards with the same pattern. Moreover, it is not easy to paste the crushed tiles one by one, and the time required for production is extremely long, leading to an increase in costs. In particular, when creating a mosaic-like wall over a large area such as the wall of a building, there are problems in that the construction period is extremely long and the construction cost is also extremely high.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The method for manufacturing a mosaic-like decorative board of the present invention involves molding clay or cement so that mosaic-like convex surfaces and grooves are formed on the surface of the molded product. It is characterized in that the convex surface of the board itself or the once fired board is painted by a transfer method and then fired, and then the grooves are filled with a joint material.

[Function] When the convex surface of an uneven surface is painted and the grooves are filled with joint material, the convex portions are individual mosaic tiles, and the grooves are like the joints formed between each mosaic tile. This results in a beautiful decorative board with a three-dimensional effect that looks like a mosaic at first glance.

In the method of the present invention, a molded body with unevenness is manufactured in advance, the convex surface of this molded body is painted by a transfer method and fired, and then the grooves are filled with a joint material. , painting, firing, and filling the joints can be carried out industrially and mechanically, making mass production possible. In particular, in the present invention, since painting is carried out by a transfer method, a wide variety of colors can be applied, and a decorative board with beautiful colors can be obtained.

In the present invention, first, as shown in FIG. 1, a molded body 1 of clay or cement is manufactured, on which a convex surface 1a and grooves 1b forming a desired mosaic pattern are formed. Such a molded body 1
can be manufactured as a molded body with unevenness by press molding or the like. In addition, it can also be manufactured by further pressing an uneven plate onto the surface of an uncured flat molded plate manufactured by press molding, extrusion molding, slurry casting, etc. to form convex surfaces and grooves.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the surface of the molded body 1 thus produced is painted by a transfer method. In the figure, numeral 2 indicates paint or glaze.
In addition to the transfer method, it is also possible to employ screen printing, but in order to provide a wide variety of mosaic-like colors, the transfer method is employed in the present invention. Painting using the transfer method can be done in the same way as painting regular patterned tiles.

After painting, it is fired at a predetermined temperature according to a conventional method. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 3, the concave strips 3b of the obtained sintered body 3 are filled with a common joint material, such as joint mortar 4, to obtain a mosaic-like decorative board 5 as shown in FIG. In this case, the joint mortar 4 may be a white mortar made mainly of white cement, or a colored mortar to which a pigment is added.

According to such a method of the present invention, for example, 10×
It is possible to industrially mass-produce beautiful mosaic-like decorative boards of various sizes from about 10 cm to about 100 x 100 cm. The obtained decorative board can then be put into a picture frame or the like and used as a wall hanging, interior decoration such as a vase holder, small items such as a bookend, etc. In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, this decorative board 5 is pasted on the surface of the wall 13 coated with mortar 14 in the same manner as normal tiles or large ceramic boards, and joints 15 are filled between the decorative boards 5. By doing this, you can easily create a mosaic-like wall surface. Of course, it may be constructed on the wall surface of the building frame using various dry construction methods. In addition to walls, it can also be used to construct ceilings, floors, etc.

以下、具体的な製造例について説明する。 A specific manufacturing example will be described below.
