いて、板材、柱材等の木材に発生する死節、腐れ
節を除去し、そこに杉、檜、松の枝木又は小径材
の年輪を生して成形した人工節を埋設して美しい
節の板材、柱材とし、更には板材に種々の径、配
置の節模様を作出してデザイン上価値の高い板材
とすることが出来る人工節を開示した。

いる。同じ樹種、同じ樹齢、同じ大きさの木材で
ありながら節がある故に商品価値を著しく安価に
評価されている。

材は板材の木表にある各種の丸節をその材面と同
じ板目模様の埋木で置き換えることにより無節材
に極似した板材に仕上げ無節材に近い商品価値を
創造するものであり、その要旨は、板材の木表に
ある生節、死節、腐れ節等の丸節の部分に深さが
板厚の略々1/2の嵌入孔を穿設し、その板材と同
一樹種の板材の表面を刳貫いて円柱状のこま形に
成形した埋木を前記嵌入孔に圧入したことを特徴
とする人工無節建材用板材にある。

穿設する。ここで檜等の板材1と同じ樹種の板材
1′の表面から前述の嵌入孔3の径より若干大き
めの円柱状体4を刳貫き、嵌入孔3に挿入し易い
様に円柱状体4の底部周縁を削成してこま状とし
た埋木4′を形成する。而して、この埋木4′を板
材1の嵌入孔3へ圧入するが、このとき嵌入孔3
と埋木4′の圧接面には接着剤を用いて、その離
脱防止を図つている。

が殆んどないものである。
