Nearly half of the boards made of cedar, cypress, etc. have rotten or dead knots, so they cannot be used as decorative surface boards for construction, and even when they are used, they are evaluated as low-quality materials with low commercial value. In order to solve this problem, rotten knots and dead knots are removed, and a sawn board is shaped and press-fitted into the removed hole space as a lumber, but the shape of the lumber is shown in Figure 4. , B, conical or cylindrical shapes have been used.
For example, an example of a construction board using cylindrical embedded wood is described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 40227/1983. However, in the case of the conical insert 5 shown in Fig. 4A, there is a drawback that when the insert 5 is driven, high stress acts on the slope of the hole, causing plate cracking and making it difficult to use with a thin plate. Cylindrical buried wood 6
In this case, since the diameter of the insert 6 is slightly larger than the diameter of the hole, it is difficult to drive the insert 6 into the hole, and if it is forced into the hole, the surface of the board may be damaged. Furthermore, since these conventional embedded timbers were cut out from board material into cylindrical bars or conical materials, there was a problem that processing and use efficiency of the board material were poor. The present invention solves these drawbacks and problems by utilizing unused resources such as branches and treating rotten and dead knots in the same way as natural living knots, thereby converting board materials with rotten and dead knots into high-value surfaces. The purpose is to provide a surface decorative board with a knotted finish that can be used as a decorative board.

This idea involves drilling rotten or dead knots 2 on the wood surface of board 1, such as cedar or cypress, into a corner-shaped hole 3 deep in the thickness of the board, and using branches of the same tree as board 1 to form a corner-shaped hole. This relates to a knotted surface decorative board characterized in that a buried wood 4 is molded and the diameter of the upper part of the same diameter part is slightly larger than the hole diameter of the upper part of the same diameter wall of the hole 3 is press-fitted into the hole 3. Here, the top-shaped buried wood 4 is a cylindrical part a with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the hole 3 in the upper part, and the lower part is reduced in diameter into a conical shape, and the lower part is cut off to form a circular bottom with a small diameter. c. In the figure, b indicates a conical portion.

In this idea, a hole 3 is drilled deep into the rotten or dead knot 2 part of the wood surface of the board 1 to about 2/3 of the board thickness, and then the inner surface of this hole 3 or the surface of the buried wood 4 is drilled. Apply adhesive to. Here, the shape of the buried wood 4 is a top shape as shown in FIG. 3, and has an outer diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the hole 3. When this buried wood 4 is inserted into the hole 3 and driven in, the lower part has a conical shape that is approximately the same size and shape as the hole 3, so that it can be inserted smoothly. Moreover, since the tip of the embedded wood 4 is not sharply pointed, a high concentration of stress occurs at the tip, causing the board 1 and the embedded wood 4 to
No cracks or damage will occur. Furthermore, if the cylindrical part a above the embedding material 4 is driven, the diameter of this part is larger than the diameter of the hole 3, so the cylindrical part a is surrounded by the plate material 1 to prevent the embedding material 4 from easily coming off from the hole 3. Become. Furthermore, it is designed to be completely joined by adhesive. In this way, the rotten knots and dead knots 2 are removed, and by burying the buried wood 4 in these parts, it becomes similar to natural fresh knots and becomes a highly valuable surface decorative board. In addition, if rotten knots and dead knots 2 appear on both sides of the thin board, a wide and penetrating corner-shaped hole 3 is drilled in the rotten and dead knots 2 portion, and a wood filler 4 is press-fitted into this. , the top surface of buried wood 4,
Both the bottom surfaces are exposed from the surface of the plate material 1 (see FIG. 5). In the above embodiments, the surface of the buried wood 4 is colored reddish-brown with the same brightness as the live knots.

As described above, according to the present invention, by making the hole and the embedded wood into a piece shape, the entire embedded wood 4 can be smoothly driven into the hole 3 without damaging or cracking the board 1 or the embedded wood 4, and moreover, the embedded wood 4 can be driven into the hole 3 smoothly. is prevented from coming off by press-fitting the upper cylindrical portion a. Moreover, since the buried wood 4 uses branches of the same tree species as the board 1, the branches can be used effectively, and the surface decoration board can be made to have a high value similar to that of raw knots.
