るパンチングおよびサイドノツチング装置に関す
るものであり、さらに詳しくいうと、金属ストリ
ツプ接続用溶接装置での溶接工程等の後工程とし
て行うパンチングおよびサイドノツチングのため
の装置に関するものである。

接線板側端部にサイドノツチングを施すノツチヤ
ヘツド8a,8bと、これを板側端部まで移動さ
せるシリンダ9a,9bでなるノツチング装置が
配設されている。10はベースである。かかる構
成により、溶接装置2によつて接続された金属ス
トリツプ1を、その溶接位置Aから溶接線をL1
の距離にある後方のB位置すなわちパンチング位
置まで矢印dに示す方向に移動して停止させ、パ
ンチング装置のシリンダ5を作動させポンチ4、
ダイス3により、第4図に示すように溶接線aの
近傍にパンチングbを施す。このパンチング終了
後、金属ストリツプ1をB位置からL2の距離を
有するC位置まで移動させて停止した後、溶接線
aの板側端部に対し、ノツチング装置のシリンダ
9aおよび9bを作動させノツチヤヘツド8aお
よび8bを金属ストリツプ1の板側端部に接近さ
せてサイドノツチングを行い、第4図に示すサイ
ドノツチングCa,Cbを施していた。
