Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency of a production device, by disposing a die and a punch near the position where the movement of a weld line stops, and permitting punching and side notching of a metallic strip which is subjected to fore stages such as welding in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A titled device applies punching and side notching, as post stages, on the prescribed positions of a metallic strip which is subjected to welding and trimming stages as fore stages. The above-described device for punching is provided with an upper frame 11 for punching which supports a punch 4 and a lower frame 12 for punching which supports a die 3 engaged with the punch 4 in the crossing part 11a where the device crosses between notcher heads 8a and 8b. The above-described device for side notching is provided with a pair of the notcher heads 8a, 8b which are disposed in the traveling direction of the strip 1 with said strip in-between and the spacing between the same are made adjustable. The strip 1 is subjected to punching and side notching in a short time by the above-mentioned device and the working efficiency is improved.
