Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent seal cut due to the draft of a door glass by having a weather strip of a car with a sashless door provided with an inside seal portion applied in contact with the upper-end inside face of the door glass and an energizing means so as to allow the inside seal portion to be pressively moved to a car body outside. CONSTITUTION:An upward lip-like inside seal portion 6c is provided on a car body inside further than the upper-end seal portion 6b of a sashless door glass 5 so as to be applied in contact with the upper-end inside face of the door glass 5. Additionally, an energizing means 11c, which moves the inside seal portion 6c following movement of the door glass 5 to the car body outside, is provided on the back of the inside seal portion 6b. The inside seal portion 6c is thus kept in the state of being applied in contact with the upper-end inside face of the door glass 5, resulting in no need to provide a restricting member for the draft prevention of the door glass and no detraction of aerodynamic characteristic of a car.

側シール部6cは上記付勢部11cの付勢により、上記
ドアガラス5の吸い出しに追従して車体外側に押動され
、このドアガラス5の上端部内側面に対し当接した状態
を保ち、ドアガラス5とウェザストリップ6との間のシ
ール切れは生じない。つまり、車室内エアの吸い出しに
よる騒音の発生や、車室内への雨水等の侵入は生じない
