３図は従来の磁気式エンコーダの磁気しやへい構
造を示す断面図である。
図において、３はカバー、４は回転軸、５は回
転ドラム、６は磁気センサー、８はカバー芯金で
ある。なお、図中、同一符号は同一、又は相当部
分を示す。

軸に固定されて回転軸とともに回転する回転ドラ
ムと、上記回転ドラムと対向して配設され、磁気
を検出する磁気センサーを有する磁気エンコーダ
において、上記回転ドラムと、磁気センサーを磁
性体材料からなり、センサー近傍部に所望な大き
さの窓を設けたカバー芯金及び上記カバー芯金と
一体化された、非磁性体材料からなるカバーにて
