(Background of the invention) As an electric nail polishing machine equipped with a reciprocating polishing section and a rotary polishing wheel, the U.S. Patent No.
A technique disclosed in No. 3240966 is known. In this device, an abrasive part is inserted into the tip of a drive shaft, and the shaft is driven by a motor through a cam part to cause the abrasive part to reciprocate and polish the surface of the nail with its lower surface. In addition, a polishing wheel is connected to the rotating shaft driven by the motor, and the nails are also polished by the approximately hemispherical outer surface of the polishing wheel. However, since the abrasive wheel has a structure that protrudes upward from the top surface of the main body case, it is easily damaged by being hit by objects, etc., and it is also easy to get injured by touching it with hands. When brushing your nails, this has caused various problems in use, such as having to remove it from the main case because it gets in the way of holding the main case. In addition, since the polished part inserted into the tip of the drive shaft is completely exposed, it can be easily damaged by objects, etc., and can easily attract dirt and dust, making it difficult to use and store. There was a problem.

(Purpose and Overview) The present invention has been developed in view of the above circumstances, and the present invention allows a polishing wheel driven by a motor to be advantageously disposed so as not to interfere with use or storage. To provide an electric nail polishing machine capable of preventing damage caused by hitting the part or polishing wheel with objects, etc. To this end, the present invention consists of a main body case that also serves as a grip and a cover extending from the main body, and a motor in the main body that converts the rotational motion of the motor into reciprocating motion. A reciprocating drive unit is housed therein, and a polishing unit that is driven reciprocally by the reciprocating drive unit is attached to the lower part of the cover. A polishing wheel driven by the motor is disposed at the front lower part of the main body, and the polishing wheel is exposed to an escape space provided below the connection between the main body and the cover. be. With this configuration, the polishing wheel does not get in the way when holding the main body that also serves as a grip, and the polishing part and the polishing wheel are protected by the upper cover, so that objects cannot be kept on them. This is intended to improve usability and storage by preventing damage from being hit and preventing dust from adhering to it.
