リング7をフローテイングシート6に押し付けて
なる一方、前記シールリング7の内径部に形成し
た係合凹部7aに、前記ケーシング8の延出部8
aを係合させて廻り止めを施すことによりユニツ
ト化して組み付けてなる構成を有するものがあ

にはクリアランスが生じ、このため、摺動トルク
によりシール本体がクリアランス分だけ捩られ
て、シールリング7及びケーシング8とパツキン
9との間の対接面間の接着部分に捩り反発力をそ
れぞれ蓄積し、このように、シール本体に蓄積さ
れた捩り反発力と摺動面の潤滑特性との相関関係
により発生するステイツク−スリツプ運動で異音
(鳴き)をしばしば発生し、また、組付け時に他
部品へ接着剤が付着したり、ダストが介入したり
し易く、接着作業が面倒であるばかりでなく、パ
ツキン破れや作動不良等の原因となる。しかも、
