Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify laying of a water barrier sheet by fixing one end of the water barrier sheet floated on the water surface to a revetment, and also by successively putting a weight net formed in a netlike shape on the water barrier sheet from the revetment side so as to be fittedly submerged on the slope of the water bottom. CONSTITUTION:A water barrier sheet 1 is floated on the water surface of a reclamation site, and one end thereof is fixed to a revetment 4 by means of an anchor 5. Then, a weight net 11 formed in a netlike shape is transferred to a prescribed place by a floating crane or the like, and is successively put on the water barrier sheet from the revetment so as to be fittedly submerged on the slope P of the water bottom. After the weight net 11 has been fittedly surmerged on the slope P, weights 9 such as a plurality of sand bags are fitted and fixed. Successively repeating the above procedure, the water barrier sheets 1 are fittedly submerged on the slope P. Thus, laying of water barrier sheets on the slope can be efficiently carried out.

Conventional water-shielding sheets h made of rubber, synthetic resin, etc. usually have a specific gravity of 1 or more and sink to the bottom of the water due to their own weight, but because of water resistance, they tend to wrinkle when deposited on the slope p of the bottom of the water. Therefore, in order to prevent wrinkles from forming, a dipper had to pull the water-shielding sheet underwater and smooth out the wrinkles to set it perfectly on the slope p, which was difficult.

The water-blocking sheet 1 (FIG. 1) is made of a water-impermeable material with a specific gravity of less than 1. Suitable examples of such materials include EPDM, IIR, ethylene vinyl acetate resin, polyethylene resin, and the like, which are fluidized rubbers containing a small amount of filler. In addition, polystyrene-based thermoplastic elastomer (SBSSSr
SlSEBS) can also be used. Waterproof sheet 1
is constructed by piecing together a plurality of water-shielding sheet members. An example of this water-shielding sheet member is shown in FIG. 3. In this example, the water-shielding sheet member 2 includes raw fabrics 2a, 2b, and
2c is made into three pieces by heat fusion, and a protective non-slip sheet 3 made of non-woven fabric is adhered thereon. Note that the longitudinal edge portions 2d of the water-shielding sheet member 2 are left open without the anti-slip sheet 3 applied thereto for protection, since the end edges of adjacent water-shielding sheets are heat-sealed and joined. For example, the water-shielding sheet member 2 has a thickness of t-3mm and a width of W-2200mn.
+, length L-36 m may be used, or this dimension can of course be determined as appropriate depending on the size of the waste disposal site.

When joining is performed on a barge, the joined water-shielding sheets 1 are sequentially dropped from the barge onto the water. Since the water-blocking sheet 1 that has fallen onto the water has a specific gravity of less than 1, it floats on the water surface. This water-shielding sheet 1 is pulled by a robe tied to one end thereof, and the end thereof is pulled up onto the seawall 4 and fixed to the seawall 4 by an anchor 5. As shown in Fig. 4, a reinforcing sheet 6 is glued to the end of the water-shielding sheet 1 in advance and an eyelet 7 is bored therein for convenience when tying the robe or driving an anchor. A rope 8 is tied to the eyelet 7. The sheet tensioning rope 8 can be used as a rope for fixing submerged sandbags after the water-blocking sheet 1 has been pulled up to or dropped from the seawall 4, as will be described later. The ends of the joined water-shielding sheets 1 are held down with sandbags on the barge so that they do not slip off the barge.
