速機構を配備した車両において、エンジン出力軸
に固定された回転界磁極、この回転界磁極を励磁
するためのフイールドコイル、無通電状態にあつ
ては上記回転界磁極によつて誘導起電力を生起し
、かつ通電状態にあつては上記回転界磁極を駆動
するステータコイルを有する発電・電動手段と、
エンジンブレーキの作動要求を検出するエンジン
ブレーキ要求検出手段と、この検出手段によるエ
ンジンブレーキ要求の検出時に上記発電・電動手
段を発電動作させるよう制御する制御手段を有す
