Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-grade looking or the like by forming patterns of hour figures, marks, designs and the like and a printed transparent film alternately in lamination on a substrate so that a cubic and deep looking is created effectively without increasing a thickness. CONSTITUTION:First, after the formation of a first pattern 3 on a colored layer 2, a first transparent film 7 is formed thereon, a second pattern 4 on the film 7 and then, a second transparent film 8 on the pattern 4. Likewise, after the formation of a third pattern 5 on the film 8, a third transparent film 9 is formed thereon and finally a fourth pattern 6 and a fourth transparent film 10 are formed on the film 9. The first to fourth films 7-10 are all ground on the top surfaces thereof after formed and the second to fourth patterns are formed on the respective top surfaces thereof ground. The thickness of the transparent films is about 80-100 mum enough to secure sufficient effect. This can create a cubic and deep looking by a delicate duplication and deviation in viewing of a plurality of patterns through the transparent films.

This dial plate is made by plating or colored coating on the substrate, printing hour letters, marks, patterns, etc. on it, and then spraying a transparent coating on it, or coating the substrate with plating or colored coating. Then, a transparent coating film was formed by spraying, and hour characters, marks, or patterns were printed on the coating.

This is because, as shown in Fig. 5, if the first transparent coating film 7 is left as it is, for example, transparent resin may accumulate near the outer periphery of the dial, and this area becomes thick and the surface becomes This will cause unevenness to occur. In addition, in this example, four layers consisting of a pattern and a transparent coating film formed thereon are stacked, but the number of layers can be changed arbitrarily depending on the thickness of the transparent coating film, etc. is possible.

Further, a sufficient effect can be obtained if the thickness of the transparent coating film is about 80 to 100 microns. However, depending on the color, shape, etc. of the pattern, it is possible to create a three-dimensional effect even if the thickness is less than that.

Furthermore, in order to prevent the thickness of the dial from increasing due to the provision of a plurality of transparent coating films as described above, the thickness of the substrate 1 may be reduced.
