Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently reduce vibration of an engine by moving a mount member upward in accordance with the fluctuation of engine torque to abut it on a stopper rubber, thereby oscillating a damper consisting of an elastic member and a weight. CONSTITUTION:When a mount member 9 provided to an engine side bracket 8 is oscillated upward in accordance with the fluctuation of engine torque, the mount member 9 is abutted against a stopper rubber 14 provided on the central inner side of a stopper plate 13 laid across the mount member 9 and pivoted on an inner cylinder 12. Further, respective mount rubbers 11, 11b provided to upper and lower walls of the mount member 9 are abutted on each other. As a result, a damper 17 consisting of an elastic member 15 and a weight 16 provided on the central outer side of the stopper plate 13 is oscillated to absorb vibration. The buffering characteristic can thus be adjusted by changing the types of respective mount rubbers 11, 11b and the stopper rubber 14.

As shown in this figure, a mount member 2 is provided at the tip of a mounting bracket 1 fixed to the engine. A hard mount rubber 4 is attached inside the mount member 2 and supports the bearing 3 in an eccentric position. Further, another mount rubber 4a is welded above and below the mount rubber 4 that supports the bearing 3.
A bush slit 4b is defined by these. On the other hand, a mounting hole 5a is formed in the vehicle body side bracket 5 to which the mount member 2 is attached, and a stopper 6, which is fastened together with the mount member 2, is U-shaped in order to restrict the upper part of the mount member 2.

When tightening, the mount member 2 and the stopper 6 are tightened together to the bracket 5 without applying the weight of the engine. Since the bearing 3 is mounted eccentrically, the clearance between the top of the stopper 6 and the outer periphery of the mount member 2 is small. However, as shown in Figure 1θ, the support bolt 7 is used to attach the bearing 3, which is mounted eccentrically due to the weight of the rear engine. When this occurs (arrow A), the mount member 2 sinks and the clearance a increases by the offset amount.

Even with the mount member 2 attached in this way,
When the engine's own weight is not applied, the lower bushing slit 4b is a small gap, and when the engine's own weight is applied, the mount member 2 is displaced downward and offset by the value obtained by dividing the load by the static spring constant. Amount) The bush slit 4b widens. Note that the mount rubber is normally set so that the bearing 3 is located at the center of the mount member 2 under load. FIG. 8 shows the relationship between load and displacement when a conventional mounting device is applied, and fLl corresponds to the amount of offset.

As a result, when a sudden torque is generated in this installed state, the displacement of the engine becomes too large, making it difficult to absorb vibrations. Furthermore, if the spring constant of the mount rubber 4 is reduced to restrict displacement, the effect of the bushing will not be obtained, and external force will be transmitted to the surrounding members, making it likely that distortion will occur.

The mounting method of the mount member 9 is as shown in FIG.
The support port 21 is tightened and fixed to the bracket 18 together with the stopper plate 13. At the time when the support port 21 is inserted into the inner cylinder 12, the inner cylinder 12 is in an eccentric position with respect to the mount member 9, and the stopper plate 13 is placed in a position eccentric to the mount member 9.
Although the stopper plate 13 cannot be installed above the engine, when the engine's own weight is applied, the stopper plate 13 can be rotated upward, and is rotated in the direction of arrow B and fixed by the fixing bolt 22. At this time, the mount rubber 11 has the shape shown in FIG. 3, and the inner cylinder 12 is located at the center of the mount member 9 in the attached state. FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram of the engine 23 installed in the vehicle body.

When the mount member 9 vibrates upward due to engine torque fluctuations, the mount member 9 first collides with the stopper rubber 14.
Next, the mount rubber 11 contacts the mount rubber Ilb within the mount member 9. In response to the vibration of the mount member 9, a damper 17 provided on the strut plate 13 swings. The damper 17 acts via the stopper rubber 14 due to sudden torque fluctuations, but also absorbs directly transmitted vibrations. The displacement of the mount member 9 due to the load is shown in the graph of FIG.

The length of the graph l t * Q 2 is the clearance m1. Corresponds to m2. In this case, the mount member 9
The clearance m2 between the mount member 9 and the stopper plate 13 can be arbitrarily set, and even if the torque fluctuation caused by the engine is large, the displacement of the mount member 9 can be made small, and vibrations can be reduced. Also, mount rubber 11. llb,
By changing the type of stopper rubber 14, the vibration characteristics can be changed. The slope of the graph in this case is different.

(Effects of the Invention) Since the present invention is configured as described above, the damper attached to the upper part of the stopper plate cooperates with the stopper rubber and swings due to vibration, so that the clearance can be substantially reduced. This is the same as what we did previously, and even if the torque fluctuations are large, vibrations can be smoothly absorbed. Furthermore, since it is possible to absorb a large amount of specific vibrations, by matching the frequency to that vibration, a negative layer effect can be obtained.
