Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and improve parts packaging density by folding a printed board into a desired shape and connecting plate sections located at both sides of the board using a circuit connection pattern. CONSTITUTION:A groove 12 is formed in the back surface of a printed board 11 at the center, whereby the board 11 can be folded into an L shape along the groove 12. Necessary parts are packaged on plate sections 11a, 11b located at both sides of the board 11 contiguous to the groove 12. A connection circuit 14 by printing for electrically connecting both plate sections 11a, 11b is formed the surface of the board 11 at the center of the same. Further, the back of the board 11 is spanned with a connection fitment 15 between both ends on to hold the board 11 in its state where it is folded into the L shape. Assembly workability can be improved and hence the device can be yielded inexpensively. Further, parts packaging density can be improved.

A conventional example is shown in FIG. 3, and will be explained below based on the drawings. In the one shown in FIG. 3, two printed circuit boards 1 and 2 are positioned at right angles so that their one ends are close to each other, and a connecting fitting 3 is placed between the other ends on the back side of both printed circuit boards 1.2. The hooks are passed, and both ends of the connecting fitting 3 and the other ends of both the printed circuit boards 1 and 2 are fixed with screws 4 to connect the printed circuit boards 1 and 2 in an L-shape. Also, both printed circuit boards are 1.21%! In order to electrically connect the two printed circuit boards 1.2, a connector 5.6 is attached to each of the surfaces of the printed circuit boards 1.2 near one end, and an electric wire 7 connects the two connectors 5, 6. Note that necessary components 8 are mounted on both printed circuit boards 1.2, respectively.
